Chutiduwa Farm |
| Chutiduwa swine farm established
in 1983 is situated at village of Marawila North Western Province of Sri
Lanka, 58 km away from the capital of Colombo. 26 km away from international
Airport Katunayaka. Our
Swine breeding station land has an extent of 4 acres. In 1996, we imported
grand parent line from U.S.A collaboration under the Agro Enterprise
Development project (Agent) program United States, 32 heads of large white,
Land Race & Duroc. We maintain a stock of 500 sows 30 boars at any given
time. Our main object is to produce 500 piglings per month. Out of 500
piglings 40 we are taking for breeding program & 300 for high breed for
fatterners & the balance for local farmers. |

Our farm is the main producers &
suppliers of piglings to the local farmers. We are proud to inform that our
farm supplies the country`s piglings requirement of 40% market share. |

Chutiduwa Livestock (Pvt) Ltd,
established in 1998 at village of Havana at Nattandiya in North Western
Province of Sri Lanka, is 74 km to the capital of Colombo & 38 km from International Airport. The land has an extent of 24 acres. The farm
is mainly concentrating on high breed fatterners program. |

Our farm supplies the country`s
30% of the market share. We are the main suppliers to M/s, Keels Food
Products Ltd & Cargills Food (Pvt) Ltd, leading manufacturers of Bacon, Ham
& Sausages etc.,. We maintain stock of fatterners 3000 - 4000 Pigs at any
given time. Very recently we have introduced a buying back system to upgrade
the small farmers. For the time being we introduced 2 farms. The first farm
is situated at central province the famous town called Kandy. The farm is
called “Upland”. At a
given time we have 400 fatterners. The 2nd farm is called “La
Village” situated at North Western province the
village called Pannala. At any given time we have 150 fatterners. To all
these farms we provide piglings, feed & the vaterinery consultation. Also
the goat breeding farm is situated at the same premises. 300 breeding stock
are available at any given time. |

| The wastewater,
purified by water treatment plant is re-used to cultivate our by products
such as Coconut, Pine-apple, Mango, Papaw, Bananas and Vegetables also the
farm waste is used for our own bigas. We are cultivating our own garss for
our goats; all by products are eco-friendly using our waste fertilizer. We
are having a poultry farm for layers. At any given time we have 12,000 -
15,000 Hens. |

sole agent for North western province for flour, we maintain the regional
stores (Mega dealer) for Prima Ceylon Ltd. We handle 2500 - 3000 metric tons
of flour per month in our warehouse. |

distributor of flour for Puttlam District we have our own fleet of transport.
We are the main supplier & distributor of flour to cooperative whole sale
departments, bakers and merchandisers. We handle 500-600 tons per month of
